About the Committee
The Committee on Zoning, Landmarks and Building Standards has jurisdiction over land use policy, the operation of the Zoning Board of Appeals, the Zoning Administrator's office, and the Landmarks Commission.
The Committee reviews all proposals that would change how land can be used in Chicago, including zoning map amendments, planned developments, and landmark designations.
